What Tasti Desk does for bars
- Late closes, early deliveries. Desk flags when a closing shift and the next day's shift leave less than 8 hours off, and when a long Friday tips into overtime.
- Liquor, beer and supplier bills. Forward the bills; Desk reads every line and flags price rises against what you paid before.
- Drink cost. Cocktail and food recipes costed from the latest bills, against your target pour and food cost.
- Counts that add up. Stock on hand, what runs out before the next delivery and what went missing since the last count.
- Staff on a link. Bartenders and servers see their shifts and ask for days off from a private link, no app.
The features behind it
What it looks like day to day
A typical Sunday: you count the bar on a phone, Desk shows what went missing since last week and what to order before Thursday's delivery, and the schedule for next week already warns you about a close followed by an open.
POS and setup
Square connects in a few minutes and brings in real sales, menu and team. On another POS, the founder builds the connection on request; schedule, team, bills, menu and stock work either way. Setup takes about 15 minutes: name the venue, connect the POS, bring in the team, forward the first bill.
Price
$149 CAD per location a month, or $1,490 CAD a year. Everything is in one plan, for 1 to 5 locations. The first 30 days are free and no card is needed. Founding 20: the first 20 venues in Vancouver pay $99 CAD a month, for good.
Who makes it
Tasti Desk is built by Tasti.io in Burnaby, BC, by founder Yuriy Romanyuk, a former restaurant operator in Vancouver. Your data is stored in Canada and never sold. See also: Tasti Desk in Metro Vancouver, BC scheduling rules in plain words and how Desk compares. Prices and plans: pricing.
