What a location costs, worked out
- 1 location: $149 a month, or $1,490 a year.
- 2 locations: $298 a month, or $2,980 a year.
- 5 locations (the most on one Desk plan): $745 a month, or $7,450 a year.
All locations are on one subscription and one bill. Adding or removing a location is prorated.
What’s included
- Staff scheduling: Week view with forecast sales, labour % live, BC overtime and rest checks, coverage gaps, and publish by email.
- Team, certificates and staff links: People, wages, availability, FoodSafe expiry warnings, day-off requests, leave records, private staff links and manager access.
- Supplier bills: A bills address per location, AI reads every line with GST/PST, checks totals and duplicates, and sorts what's due.
- Price rise alerts: Every bill line compared per kg, L or each; rises of 3%+ ranked by monthly cost, with the price that keeps your margin.
- Recipes and food cost: Ingredients priced from your bills, cost per serve, target food cost, suggested price and menu engineering.
- Online and printed menu: Online menu with QR code, website embed, sold out today, guest banner and printed menus from one place.
- Stock and ordering: Counts by shelf on a phone, expected on hand, runs out before delivery, missing since last count, waste and orders.
- Avo, the AI assistant: Ask about your numbers in plain words; Avo proposes price, shift, day-off and order changes and waits for Confirm.
- Morning note: Yesterday's sales and labour, today's forecast and who's on, and what needs you, by email or text at your time.
- Multiple locations: Sales, labour %, food cost %, prime cost and profit for up to five locations side by side, with shared recipes and people.
- Reports and export: Management P&L for any range, prime cost, GST/PST for your bookkeeper, bills CSV and a full data export.
- Unlimited staff, with private staff links. Owners, managers and supervisors with their own access.
- Square connection, or a connection to your POS built by the founder on request.
- Data stored in Canada, a full export any time, and help from the founder by email or phone.
What’s not included
- Payroll, time clock, timecards and tip pooling. Desk estimates pay for planning and exports clean data for your payroll provider.
- Bill payment. Desk keeps what’s due in order and records what you paid; it never moves money.
- A POS or online ordering. Desk works next to your point of sale.
- Accounting software sync. Bills export as CSV with GST and PST for your bookkeeper.
Payment
Payments are handled by Stripe; Desk never sees your card number. We give at least 30 days’ notice by email before changing the price of your plan. The full rules are in the Terms of Service.
Questions
Is the price per location or per user?
Per location. $149 CAD a month or $1,490 CAD a year for each location, with unlimited staff, managers and supervisors.
Do I need a card for the trial?
No. The 30-day trial needs no card. If you add one during the trial, the first charge is on the day the trial ends.
What happens if I don't choose a plan after 30 days?
Desk pauses: only Settings opens until you choose monthly or yearly. Your data stays.
Is tax included?
No. Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes. Checkout lets you add your GST/HST number.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes, from Settings, Plan and billing.
How do I cancel?
In Settings, Plan and billing. You keep access to the end of the period you paid for and aren't charged again. Partial periods aren't refunded, except where the law requires it.
How does the Founding 20 work?
The first 20 venues in Vancouver pay $99 CAD a month per location instead of $149, for as long as they stay subscribed. Mention it to the founder when you start.
What if I have more than five locations?
