What Tasti Desk does for bubble tea shops
- Drink cost by size. One recipe per size with tea, milk, sweetener, toppings and packaging. Desk shows cost per drink and food cost % against your target, and the price that keeps your margin.
- Toppings and packaging prices. Forward the bills for pearls, jellies, powders, cups and sealing film; Desk reads every line, compares the unit price with last time and shows what a rise costs a month.
- After-school rushes. Forecast sales per day from your own Square history, labour % live, and staff availability windows (after 3 pm, weekends only) respected in the schedule.
- Sold out toppings. Mark a topping or drink sold out and it shows on your online menu right away.
- Stock that adds up. Counts by shelf, what runs out before the next delivery, and what went missing since the last count.
The features behind it
What it looks like day to day
A typical week: the cup supplier raises prices by two cents a cup, Desk flags it with what it costs a month, the menu shows the new cost of every drink size, and the schedule warns you that the student who can only work after 3 pm is booked for a Tuesday open.
POS and setup
Square connects in a few minutes and brings in real sales, menu and team. On another POS, the founder builds the connection on request; schedule, team, bills, menu and stock work either way. Setup takes about 15 minutes: name the venue, connect the POS, bring in the team, forward the first bill.
Price
$149 CAD per location a month, or $1,490 CAD a year. Everything is in one plan, for 1 to 5 locations. The first 30 days are free and no card is needed. Founding 20: the first 20 venues in Vancouver pay $99 CAD a month, for good.
Who makes it
Tasti Desk is built by Tasti.io in Burnaby, BC, by founder Yuriy Romanyuk, a former restaurant operator in Vancouver. Your data is stored in Canada and never sold. See also: Tasti Desk in Metro Vancouver, BC scheduling rules in plain words and how Desk compares. Prices and plans: pricing.
