How it works
- Start the free trial and set up your venue, team and bills address. No POS needed for that.
- Email yuriy@tasti.io or call 778 956 4251 with your POS name and how many locations you run.
- The founder looks at what your POS makes available (an API, scheduled reports or exports) and builds the connection that brings your sales into Desk.
- Once sales come in, forecasts, labour %, menu engineering and the morning note’s numbers switch on.
How quickly a connection can be built depends on what your POS company allows. We’ll tell you honestly before you commit.
What works without a POS connection
- Staff scheduling with BC rule checks and labour cost (labour % needs sales).
- Team, certificates and staff links.
- Supplier bills and price rise alerts.
- Recipes and food cost (dishes added in Desk).
- Stock counts and orders (usage from bills and counts).
- Online and printed menus.

Does Tasti Desk work with Toast, Lightspeed, Clover or TouchBistro?
Not out of the box today; Square is the only POS connected by default. Tell us which POS you use and the founder builds the connection for your venue.
What works before my POS is connected?

What needs the POS connection?
Sales, the sales forecast, labour % of forecast, top sellers, menu engineering and stock usage from sales.
Is the Desk price different if my POS isn't Square?
No. The Desk plan is the same price per location whichever POS you use.
